Something is very wrong with the set-up..
Does the engine change RPM as it should, with throttle position changes..?? Have you done anything to the Governor (such as opened it?).. A Rack setting of 17 (on the Original engine set-up) would have been good and only smoked once the engine was at Full Power...and smoked good, after that..BUT, NOT at idle... Something must be mechanically wrong..Injection timing may be the problem..or Injector spray pattern..?? A Stock "R" will stroll with 4x16" in 2nd and 3rd..depending on ground conditions..here in Ohio.. Ron..
