I got a unstyled tractor.Thats how i shut mine off is to turn the gas off and let it run out the gas until it dies.My tractor ran good for 3 years until about a month ago it started flooding out like the float was hung.I took the carb apart and the float shaft was rusty and the bottom of the bowl was rusty from moisture. So I run my carb out of gas and open the drain petcock every time and still got moisture in my carb. I got lucky and theres a gas station in my town that sells 100 percent gas.Thats what im running now.It wouldnt hurt to run some Sea Foam either to help with moisture.
