The 44 series (clutch lift) plows were started in 1945 and continued thru 1957. There were 2 versions, the 44 which transports on 2 wheels and the 44A which transports on 3 wheels. The 44A is unusual to find. If you add an "H" to either model designation you get the hydraulic lift and depth control versions for a total of 4.
