Neither my 50 B back in 68, nor this one has conduet over the wires. Dad had a 48 A and Im sure it didnt have any conduit on the wires either. Just went out and looked again, Theres a rubber piece ment to hold the wires together, but one of the holders is gone and its only on one wire. Checked underneith, and it still has the petcocks. Now, im wondering if mine had them, cause, just like this one, I couldnt see them, and I just thought they had got past that when they went with 2 batterys
