When I was a kid on the farm Dad used to wash off tractors readying for tear down, or wash up gunky parts, using kerosene under pressure - lots of pressure! He'd set an empty LP gas tank of about 20 gallon size, gas valve open or removed, under the spigot of the kerosene barrel, then let kerosene run into the LP gas tank until about half full. Then fill the LP gas tank on up with LP. Walla! Using the liquid valve on the LP gas tank, here was kerosene under about 150 PSI and the tank didn't didn't need pumped. As my memory of Dad always includes a cigarette in his mouth, I suppose he did this while smoking - no, it was the smoking that took his life, not a kerosene/LP gas blow up!! WARNING - do not try this at home as it could be hazardous to your health!!!
