I just got a model 30 combine, the replacment for the model 12. Although it has a foot wider cut than the 12, it's really wide. In my book, it says the 30 is 10 feet, 11 and a half inches wide overall. They do look real nice in parades, but transporting it is really hard because of the width. It stuck out 2 feet on each side of my trailer. I bought mine for custom harvesting. I think you should buy it because although their usefulness is going down, they still thresh and clean grain as good as a modern combine, just not as wide of a cut. Remember that these are always going out to the weeds or to scrap, so the value is increasing also.
