The other week while disking a field I lost all hydraulic power. I found my transmission pump had given out and was in need of repair. I replaced both sides of the transmission pump and the two gears inside. Put the tractor back together and still no hydraulics. No power steering, three point or front end loader. Where do I go from here? This repair job is really becoming a challange. There has to be away to check if things are working before you put it back together. This putting it together first and then find out it does not work, really gets depressing after awhile. Really need help on this one. If someone would like to talk about it on the phone please email me at short@ccwip.net with phone number and I will call you. I need to get this tractor runing again.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
