Glen in TX, a few weeks previously, I had asked you about the FB drills with steel wheels. The mention you made yesterday in this discussion is probably the model my father bought in the early 40's. He bought one new in either 1942 or '43, and bought a used one a year later. Both were identical, as best as I can remember. The first thing he did was open the lids, using them as the front of an extention, with galvanized metal to complete the extention. which doubled the capacity of both compartments. They were still working fine in 1959, the last year we farmed.
