It may not be a bad idea to pull off the engine top cover drain the oil and have a look around. Look for something not right like an oil line cracked or broken ? maybe leave alittle oil in there and turn the engine over and watch if any excess leaks out somewhere ? like the filter can top gasket ? It's going to be real hard to get to that relief spring as I think it is in the filter can head. I had a late B that lost oil pressure not long after an overhaul it had a bad relief spring,but those models are on the outside and easy to get at. Lucky I didn't ruin the engine.
