I see Kenmeth at Classic Generator is selling brand-new 12 or 24 Volt starters that you could use on a 70D for a conversion. They look great, but the cost is $500. I think it was Clyde Wilson was selling a repro starter bracket. I don't remember for sure, but the cost was around $500 again, I thought (thought it could have been $300). Ought to fire it up with two HO 12V Optima's, then a new VR and some generator work, say $200 for the batteries, $50 for the VR and $1-150 for genny work. Then you should buy a new fuel gauge ($100 or so from Nick Barbieri), change all of the lamps to 12 volts, then you pay someone to do all of this, but if you're handy, we won;t charge for that. So, it looks like you're right $ 1500.00 Did I forget anything?

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
