I had a 316 that smoked like yours. I sold it to another guy telling him it needed an overhaul. When he got it apstr the piston was worn out from rocking in the bore. He bored it put in new rod and piston and whatever ir needed. That was 5 yrs ago and it is still going strong. I also know a guy who got a kit from Smallenginewarehouse. He was very happy with the kit. He choose the Honda engine. That would be a sweet setup. He also said the people were really good to deal with.
