I have a '46 B that I would like to install a six

volt regulator on the generator. Right now, the B has the two position switch that likes to smoke and the local dealer lists the switch for $90.00. I would like to replace this switch with a regular light switch and due away with this two position resister switch. What wiring would be involved in this conversion to a six volt regulator? Thanks for any input.
