If you have a show paint job, leave off the cab. If it's a right out of the can classic green go ahead. You can touch up a "working" tractor again right out of the can again in the spring.
Just the vribration of the tractor running and the wind floping the canvas or vynal will rub the paint. It's hard to get them tite enought so they don't rub the paint.
The only way to get them half way tite is to throw away the canvas straps and use bungy cords, and thats just makes it worse on the paint job.
