Hey Bill, My dads 41 model B has a oil check on the left hand side just behind the hand start flywheel and of course at the proper hieght for the oil level. Don't know for sure about all of them but dads B has a hex shaped fitting with a plug in the end of it. Just loosen and see if it drips, if not add oil till it does.
