I am trying to set the carb on a 37 A and am having no luck. I have checked the fuel supply and cleaned all the passages in the carb. It still will only start and fun if the choke is at half way. When I open the choke all the way it dies. I set the run and idle needles to the suggested turns out and it still runs out a lot of black smoke when I try to adjust the needles. I can get it to run and idle but only if the run needle is open 3/4 turn and the idle about 1 turn out and the choke is 1/2 to 3/4 open. What is wrong? This is a DLT 18 carb. Thanks, Jim
