For my two cents, I'd say neither. I have 3pt Kuhn rake. I love it. It rakes really well, picks up the hay into nice tall windrows without the rolling/wrapping effect. Additional,I have a couple smaller odd shaped fields that are not square, so it's nice to be able to pick up and turn around at the end. My father has NH 55 and it's a good rake, but not as handy as the Kuhn. I have two neighbors that had wheel rakes, one loved it ( a towed model) and one hated it ( a 3pt model)
