Steve, Think you're right - something else came out, perhaps in transit. Owner came over and we hand turned it thru a number of cycles, and everthing ran OK. So then we put power to it, and it ran OK. Then we set it by the barn, and rebaled about 15 bales of loose hay without a problem. Thanks to you and the other guys for their information. By knowing what to look for, we were able to assure ourselves that the timing was right before we went and did something else stupid! Made excellent rebales - can hardly wait for the next field to be ready to bale! (And I can return the borrowed Oliver 60-T, which has been doing a lousy job!)
