Doug: Something to remember, if disc is in good condition, and the price is right you can always drop 1 disc off each gang until you get it right. Then cut the arbor bolts and frame to suit. You will have 4, 8, 12 or 16 spare discs in case of breakage. Your 45 hp tractor should handle 32 or 36 good 16" blades. Biggest part of whole process is threading shortened arbor bolts. You will get a heavier frame disc that way.
