It is mechanically sound however the previous owner failed to keep the floor clean of dirt and hay and now the floor behind the sickle is rusting through. Does anyone know if this is a replacement part from CNH? It is welded in a few places but doesn"t look like a big deal to tear out the old and replace. Has any of you had to do this? If so how much cost for the part?
Might be cheaper to take it out nicely and take it to a local steel/fab shop and have them bend up a replacement
