Here the fields grow up to Coyote Brush. I am clearing our ranch now. Fortunately I can shred it with a Sidewinder. I have been lucky in being able to plow it with my D4 and 4-14" IHC plow. It is steep sidehill so sometimes I turn it all down hill. I plant oats. I get a lot of roots in the hay. The only way to clean ground like this up is with a moldboard plow. I will have to plow it again in a few years because some brush will remain. It is all really steep so I would like to get into conservation tillage for annual farming.
