Probably a 5 shank model 527 DMI disc ripper is about all you will want to pull depending on the amount of compaction you have.discs in the front, 5 deep till shanks in the middle and closing discs on the rear. These can be had in decent shapefor under $10K. You will burn alot of fuel, and points are spendy depending on which configuration you need. We build ours up with pieces of truck springs. Hard stoney ground will wear out a set of points in 40-50 acres. They do make a big difference, especially on end rows, and high traffic areas where the combines,grain carts run.
