Kingman plow co. Was a peoria, il based implement manufacturer founded by martin kingman, a civil war veteran, and a partners including c a jamison. The company was originally, from my understanding, originally a wholesaler and dealer of wagons, bikes, and a variety of farm related merchandise. They had affiliates in kansas city, st louis, and des moines. Eventually they became an implement manufacturer. Reportedly they were acquired in 1917 and became the Avery Company, which at one point employed 2,500 people. plant became Robert Letourneau's (god runs my company) tractor factory, which was bought by westinghouse, american standard, dresser, and is currently komatsu. you can find several kingman ads on ebay.
