No. 4 New Idea built 1948 to 1953 when was followed by the No. 44 that was the same except fot tractor levers on the toung. Those are highly desireable rakes for use in Amish areas now yet. I have 4 of them setting here right now for rebuilding plus 2 of the 3 bar that preceded them. AC rakes were all PTO powered and on rubber. That Orange could be Coop that looks very much like the New Idea. Would like to have that rake but think your a bit too far to go for me. Northwest Ohio. If there is still a tag on it look on the front of the angle that the tooth tilt lever sets on. It is held on by 2 rivets and most tags have gotten lost. If it is still there it will have a lot number on that starts with R and 3 didjets and that will tell the year it was made and if more than one lot was made what part of year it was made. It was built at Coldwater, Ohio.
