[quote="Art Massing"](quoted from post at 02:54:03 12/30/12) Seller,
I"ve attached a couple of pictures of the 2-Row Blackhawk corn planters that I"ve found over the years. I believe that using both, I can make one that works!
I also have a few plates but they are hard to find in my area (third picture; bottom group).
My Dad used a 4-Row, pull type Blackhawk corn planter for years.
Thanks,
Art
The one I am trying to get boughten back looks like the one in your pictures that still shows some paint.
I also measured my Uncle's cultivator. He did have the planter set down to 30 inch rows. HE very well have modified the planter to get it that narrow, He would a real crafty on changing things.
He shorted his JD manure spreader to make it work better with his smaller tractors. Get me in trouble when I posted on here how small it was. LOL
He made a Hume reel for his AC 72 pull type combine. Used a bunch of boards and cables to make it work.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
