Hello everyone, I need some input from you. I used a 10' Bush Hog chisel plow this Fall on my soybean stubble ground and it worked great. The owner's son called me today and wants to know if I would like to buy it. It hasn't seen a shed in who knows how many years. That doesn't bother me too much. The hydraulic cylinder works good, the shovels are pretty well worn down. The only issue is when you want to transport it down the road from field to field. When I got it this Fall, the owner had a clevice hooked in the cylinder bracket and a chain and load binder wrapped around the back beam to hold it up so the shanks wouldn't dig in the ground. That way you can take it down the road or field to field. My question is this: what is a reasonable offer for it? I will post a picture as best I can of it behind my tractor from this Fall. I really like this chisel plow. I was thinking in the $400-$500 range. Let me know what you think, please. Thank you everyone. Kow Farmer (Kurt)
