Its a wide row head, but we have 32" rows. Thats ok though as we are retiring a fox 3000 with a wide row head as well so I know it'll work. Next year we may look for another head like an 824 just because the one we found has for sure seen a lot of acres. Probably still keep this one though just in case.
Only paid $400 for it, plus another $130 for the pulley that drives the sickle. That should be getting shipped out tomorrow so it may be here on tuesday. The local branch for the same dealer had a p.o.s 824 head for a mear $995... We told them where to stick that head. Maybe next spring they'll sell the other head they wanted $2500 for it for $1000. The pos they had listed for $200 earlier in the season but we thought we had a head that would work.
Really a shame that 770 head wouldn't fit as it really was in nice shape.
