When you order the new engine it will already have a new reduction assembly on it, as you stated. I would have to know your model number before I could tell you what you can mix-n-match. For example, if it were aluminum, all you would need to do is procure any old 7 or 8 horse and swap out the crank and side cover, assuming your crank is serviceable.
