I am looking for info, it is not currently running. Has a briggs two cylinder motor that runs a hydraulic pump, everthing else works on hydraulics. Anyone know where to get information on this unit? Thanks
I currently have two of these machines. I also have an electronic (scanned) manual of one but it is pretty useless. What do you need to know? The principle operation is pretty simple. Internal combustion engine, (12hp to 16hp), runs a hydraulic pump. Hydraulic pump powers three cylinders to move man-lift up-down & left-right. Hydraulic pump also runs hydraulic motor that drives and rear end axle. Steering is done by applying brakes to one wheel or the other. I have seen variations of this. One of mine works pretty good except the brakes, so I am trying to rebuild the braking system. The other Girette is in a million pieces and will never see operation as before. I intend on making it totally electric battery powered.
