Older JD pocket ledgers showed in 1931-33 the NEW JD "Light Running" ground driven binder was made in 6, 7 & 8 foot sizes. Was called light running because it had a quick turning tongue truck to reduce side draft & neck weight on the draft horses. A stiff pole or tractor hitch could be furnished also. Only shows light running & tractor binder 31-33.
Same years a PTO shaft tractor binder was made in 8 or 10 ft. sizes.
At the JD manuals site enter binder and several come up.
