The op manual of any plate planter would never tell you which plates you need- (that is the duh part- the manual does not know which seed you might buy!) -that should be on the bag of whatever NON-PLATELESS seed you bought! Help- yes- try to fit the seed into the cavity of the plate....but the problem occurs when the plate chips off part of the seed, so that is why it is a judgment call when you evaluate how the seed fits into the cell.
