Do your bearings use 2 halves held around the spool with a U bolt? These are the older style of bearings. I don't know if IH can get them anymore, but I have some I saved out of an older disk. I am not sure of the part number, though. Are you talking really HOT or just warm? After a little use I would think they would all get a little warm to the touch because they are just 2 pieces of cast iron or whatever running inside each other, more like a bushing than a bearing. Don't overgrease these to keep them from making noise, too much grease holds the dirt inside them and wears them out much faster. Mike
