They are old balers - about 50 years old. Most all parts are still available through the dealer. They do have wood bearings on the plunger. A few critical parts on the pickup are no longer available through the dealer. I've been rebuilding one - you'll just about have to have two to piece one good one together. I understand many are still in use. If you really enjoy working, reworking, hunting for parts and happen to own a case or two of PB Blaster...might give it a try for a winter project. However, if you don't really enjoy a mechanical challenge better think about it...
