GREAT planter -- was sold thru ford dealer here in cullman Al. no longer made. parts are hard to get - some still in stock in warehouse. i have a 2 row i bought new in fall of 85. has dry fertilzer hoppers (fiberglass) rolling openers, closers - will plant very accurate for a plate style planter at 5-6 miles hr. ground does not have to be clean but does need to be plowed up. i have both bean plates and a selection of corn plate. have planted peas with mine using one of the corn plates and it works very well. link shows a side picture of dad planting corn with it in '02 -(he was 90 at the time). fertizer hoppers are off in picture.
