A missing woodruff key on the variable speed driven sheave on the transmission input shaft will make it do that. The key is in the outer half of the sheave, behind the left drive tire. Possibly the cotter pin came out of the castle nut and it loosened enough to release the key. The sheaves will be turning and look normal, but are just spinning on the shaft. Look at the castle nut on the end of the shaft next to the left drive tire. It can be put back together where it sits to get it out of the field. For the long term, the input shaft needs to come out and be checked for damage and wear. New shafts are no longer available from AGCO, but the existing shaft can be rebuilt by a machine shop.
