I bought a repro parts manual and an operators manual, both of which are very good quality. According to the parts book, the fingered reel is a "universal harvester" reel. My running combine also has a fingered reel but its different. The part book describes it as a "massey ferguson reel". Every time I work on these little machines I'm a little more fascinated! I hope to bring my running one into working order by harvest time this year. The parts machine has all the brackets where the large side shield mounted, but sadly as was the fate of most of them I'm sure, it is long gone.
