Quoting Removed, click Modern View to seeSorry I can't help you with the flighting. I lengthened the unloading auger on my 105 and the one lesson I learned is it needs to be perfectly straight or the whole combine will shake when the auger runs.
I don't know what the auger options were for a 45 but the 105 could have had three different lengths of auger; short, long and extra long. Mine had the long auger and I lengthened it to extra long elngth. I thought I spliced them together straight but when I ran it she had the shakes. After I pulled it back out and got it perfectly straight it ran smooth. It might not hurt to spin it on a couple of V blocks to check it out. Straightening it just involves leaving it on the v blocks and jacking down on it with a hydraulic jack. They are hard to straighten because you are fighting the flighting but it can be done. Best way is to find a one-piece section of new flighting. Jim

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
