Several of you have asked about how hard it was to put the J.D. head on the Ford so here are some pics.#1-Picture of the plate and jackshaft on the right side. #2-front view of the angle iron used to fill the small gap on rh side. #3 same as #2 only on left side. #4 small plate welded to the head(one on each side) on the bottom with big bolt and spacer to replace the original sliding pin on the Ford head. It does require some cutting and welding on the Deere head but is very minimal.The slots for the Ford ears to fit up in to have to be cut in the head and the plate for the jackshaft has to be welded to the head.All in all it was very easy and would take less than a day with minimal expense involved.
