Had the same problem with a 216 and yesterday we finally solved the problem. For us the trouble turned out to be the shoes under the head on the right side had been bent up that they were concave, which changed the guard angle. Sighting down the cutterbar it was hard to see anything out of the ordinary, but in the field the left side would stay clean but the right side would pickup dirt. I'd suggest checking your shoes if it's only digging on one side. I wasn't sure that this was causing our trouble when I headed for the field after our fix, but it behaved like a 200 series head should after the repair.
