I bought a QA36 snow blower last summer and installed it over the weekend and have a few questions.
What size of belt does this use?
The model shows QA36 - but it has the adjustable width so it can be mounted on both wide frames and narrow frames - did someone mate an older throwing unit to a "newer" mount?
The lift rod barely clears the front axle - it can not be lowered or lifted all the way - result of mating the adjustable width mount to the older snow thrower? Its is as if the arm on the snow blower (the the lift rod attaches to) is about two inches short. Any input on this or do I bolt on a "custome made" extender (in other words farmerize it)?
Anyone know of a supply or have some old parts laying around - the rod and "crank" to turn the shute is missing.
