Hi There Will try and answer a couple questions. 1. Starter/Generator..mounts on lower left side of engine on a bracket bolted to engine block. (both are missing) 2. Wiring harness.. a lot is missing along with the voltsge regulator ( looks like one from a 50's era auto) the red wire from the switch may go to the engine points (grounds them to stop motor) or went to starter solenoid- trace them. Note : if you pushed it from the barn, then the drive pin (left rear wheel-seen from front of tractor) has been pulled . its on the drive hub by the wheel hub.must be in for move under power with engine. 3. Card bowl may have a flat spot or tapered one, if so this must be aligned correctly when the bowl is placed on the card or the float may jam.. don't know what carb type so guessing on this one some good folk on the bolens groups over on yahoo great old tractors -got 4 of em Bob Whitmoyer
