How collectable it is depends on what year it is. Post the serial number and I can ID it for you. For the most part, the tractor should be orange. All of it with a few exceptions. Since it is a Jim Dandy, the 8" front wheels should be orange, the rear wheels should be all black but the hubs. The steering tube would either be orange or black depending on the year. Engine should be orange depending on the year. Once I know the year (depending on what it is), I may be able to supply you with a picture of a new one so there is no doubt. You"ll find the serial number in various places. If it is an older JD, it will be on a tag that is mounted to the bell housing. If it has electric start, it may be hidden under the starter generator. A newer model will have the number both on the front grill and the dash. If you can"t find it at all, send me a picture or two or a good accurate description and I can at least get it close.
