Steve , The two stage snow thrower from Wheel Horse is a BIG BOY and takes at least 16 horse power to operate it . I would save some money by purchasing the single stage unit and a used Wheel Horse snow blade also (it's the best in the buisness). There used to be a picture on the internet of a guy in Michigan on a Wheel Horse with the two stage blowing snow OVER the roof of his house from half way down his drive way ! Bill in Richmond , Va.
