Well, from here it looks like you can go 3 ways: 1.) Trade it in for the $700. That seems like a fair trade-in value, since 782s with blown engines can be had far cheaper than that. And yes, he will fix it and resell it. That's what the biz is all about. 2.) Have it rebuilt or rebuild it yourself. Tim W. about addressed that one. 3.) Re-engine it with a Magnum 18. See the link. This engine will have an oil filter, which is the only possible mod needed to your 782 to get it to fit. That is an easy deal to fix up. Popping in one of these is not very hard to do, if you want to do it yourself.
