Posting this for my brother in law. He has a Murray rinding mower w/ hydrostatic drive. A pully broke last time he used it. The pully was replaced by a local shade tree mechanic. My b-in law was cautioned that he should check the fluid in the hyro. drive. He doesn't know how, can't find a dipstick, and doesn't know what type of fluid to add. Any advice? He can't find a service manual for the thing!
