Purchased Huskee lawn mower in September 1998. I have had numerous problems. Most, even when in warrenty, were said not to be covered. My most common problem is the spindle assembly and deck pulleys. The design is bad and the material that it is made out is weak. This is my third time having a repair made to this part of my tractor. The average repair cost is approximately $250.00. I had a spindle assembly installed on 3-1-01 and today on 3-5-01 it broke again. I also own a Craftsman 18HP and I have owned it for over ten years and I have only had one problem of this type. I am really unhappy with this tractor.
