Before you go replacing the Hydraulic pump, you may want to change the hydraulic oil. It sounds dumb but the oil breaks down after six months and things start feeling mushy, even when hooking up a flow meter. I change the oil on my 446 once a year and I'm still amazed with the difference in performance after the change. If that doesn't cure it, then check the releif valve for the travel section, its just a small steel ball and spring, for the spring could have broken. Another item could be the o-ring on the power beyond fitting which would result in slow loader operation but fair travel operation. Most of the parts from the new Ingersoll should fit for the only difference in most of the garden tractor line was engines, control valves (600 series had a type of its own), hydraulic pump(again the 600 only), and the hydraulic coolers. Hope this helps.
