Kohler KT17s

I have a Ariens Mod#931019 with a Kohler KT17s spec. motor. Well you know the story large hole in the side of the motor.I want to replace this motor does anyone know the best replacement motor for this . Does anyone know if a larger motor can be installed on this tractor ie. 20-22hp.
