It's always a crapshoot for sure. Had one guy not shown up the one I got would have been much cheaper by a couple of hundred... I might have been that one guy for someone else!
I always enjoyed farm auctions, used to go with my dad and brother when we were growing our little farming operation back in the early 70s. Of course they always seemed to be in Jan. or Feb. and we'd be freezing our hind ends. Later the wife and I were in the antiques biz as a side line and we both would go to auctions to get stock. She hates farm auctions however so that's a me alone thing now.
