No they don't. Sounds like you may have a pluged line. Check the fuel pickup in the tank. It is easy to get grass in the tank and it sinks to the bottom. The fuel pickup will suck it up but get pluged at the top where it turns 90degrees and the fuel line hooks on. I see this a lot. Tim
