I have a LGT 165 Ford (early 1970s) with a snow auger (single stage) mounted on the front. Yesterday I had a bearing failure on the auger/blower shaft. The Ford part number is JAC 342 858. It is an unusual ball bearing with the inner race dia. of .8125" (shaft size), then the balls and the flanges are the outter race, the bolt circle for the flange/race is quite small. I am told that it was made by a company called Roberts. I have tried many bearing suppliers and I have not had any luck finding a replacement bearing or a source for one. Anyone have a solution or source?
